Container #24: Shades of Green

May 22, 2020 By Cindy Jungman, SDSU Extension Master Gardener

There are so many subtle shades of green in this container! It provides a soft cool picture.

RECIPE:
• (1) Petunia “Pistachio Cream Ray”
• (1) Geranium “Mrs. Pollack”
• (1) Cordyline Ti Plant “Cherry Cordial”
• (2) Clumps Sedum “Lemon Coral”

TIPS:
• I used the cordyline plant to compliment the burgundy colors in the geranium leaves.
• Likewise, the lime green sedum helps bring out the lime color in the petunia blossoms.
• The lime green ceramic container is perfect for this plant combination.
